Demonstrators have staged a protest at the EFF's public lecture at the University of Cape Town. The protestors, who included LGBTQ+ activists, the DA Student Organisation and Sasco members, were objecting to the presence of the keynote speaker, Kenyan academic Professor Patrick Lumumba, who is a vocal supporter of Uganda's anti-homosexual bill.
