I have to admit cold weather isn't my favorite, but I do love the festive desserts and coffeehouse drinks that come with it! That inspired me to come up with 5 coffeehouse-inspired mug cakes that you can make in just 2 minutes and one box of cake mix. Let me know which one you can't wait to try in a comment below! Flavor: Pumpkin Spice Latte
8 T yellow cake mix
3 T canned pumpkin 1 T milk
1 T vegetable oil
1 egg yolk
1 t pumpkin pie spice
Pinch salt
1/2 t instant coffee powder (optional) Whipped Cream
Flavor: Toasted Graham Latte
2 Graham crackers, crushed, with 1 T reserved
8 T yellow cake mix
3 T milk
1 T vegetable oil
1 egg yolk
1/2 t vanilla
1/2 t almond extract
Pinch salt
1/2 t instant coffee powder (optional) Whipped Cream
Flavor: Salted Caramel Latte
8 T yellow cake mix
2 T milk
1 T vegetable oil
1 egg yolk
1 t vanilla
2 caramels, cut into pieces
1 T caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling Pinch salt
1/2 t instant coffee powder (optional) Wooden skewer
Whipped Cream
Flavor: Eggnog Latte
8 T yellow cake mix
2 T milk
1 T vegetable oil
1 egg yolk
1 t vanilla 1/2 t rum flavoring
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
Pinch salt 1/2 t instant coffee powder (optional)
Whipped Cream
Flavor: Peppermint Mocha Latte
8 T yellow cake mix
2 T milk
1 T vegetable oil
1 egg yolk
1 t vanilla
1/2 t peppermint extract
2 T chocolate chips
1 T cocoa powder
