The Nonprofit Executive of the Year award celebrates a current nonprofit staff leader (CEO, Executive Director or equivalent) whose distinguished achievements leading a Central Texas nonprofit have truly "moved the needle" for the organization and have resulted in significant impact in the community.

Mark Kiester joined the Boys & Girls Clubs in 2006, and has grown the number of Austin clubs from 3 to 22, now serving 12,000 kids from tough circumstances. Mark has built dozens of community partnerships, and been nationally recognized by the Boys & Girls Clubs for his leadership. He inspires his staff to grow personally and professionally, so together they can help under-served youth in Austin.
