A 3-D model of the 150-foot bronze statue of Bir Lachit Barphukan to be built at his memorial at Teok, Jorhat. The current plot of 4.3 bigha of the memorial is being expanded by another 50 bigha land.
A grand museum & interpretation centre will be built describing the life and achievements of Lachit Borphukan through audio-visual and pictorial representation to give a 360-degree surround experience to visitors.
A war museum will also be there with galleries housing all significant artifacts/relics representing the grandness of Ahom kingdom and Lachit Borphukan in particular.
A library and research centre has also been proposed to facilitate comprehensive study by all visiting scholars under one roof.
