Volendam (2024) is a traditional fishing village in the province of North Holland, the Netherlands. Volendam is well known for its traditional Dutch clothing and folk music. It is a popular tourist destination close to Amsterdam. The Main Street is the Haven at the harbour with colorful Dutch houses. Volendam has a population of 23,000.
