Today there was a situation involving some huskerdust merch, leading to a few statements and vivziepop herself speaking up. I’ll break it down.

So back in July artists Alyah and frost made some fanart of husk and angel dust. The reflection on the ground shows the pair kissing.

Fast forward to this week and this print was made official and put onto the streamily store, where you could pay for the voice actors of these characters to sign it and mail it to you.

People took this as confirmation that huskerdust is canon.

Shortly after the merch was taken down. A statement was put up on the merch twitter saying that unless otherwise stated, character prints aren’t canon.

Fans were upset about this, questioning why such a statement had to be made at all.

Vivziepop replied and apologised for the confusion,saying she’ll try to be more involved in the future.

Personally i think the entire thing is a bit silly. The prints probably should’ve said they were non canon in the first place, and there was no need to take down the print.
