For most greenhouse crops, the ideal growing medium pH for maximum nutrient availability is between 5.5 and 6.5.
Why? Because in soiless mixes, micronutrients are very minimal. You tend to want to see the pH lower, so that's where the ideal pH of 5.5 to 6.0's is best.
