Hello Everyone! This is April Choi and Bethany Byrnes with a quick tips and tricks video on practicing your Jellyfish Extinguish.
The first thing you want to work on is making sure you have a good Stop Jellyfish Extinguish.
The only thing you have to do for a Stop Jelly is to rise straight up and at the right rate.
You have the correct rate if you see the jellyfish shape.
Here is what you see if you go too slow.
Here is what the flame looks like a bit too fast.
Here are some good examples in slow motion so you know what to look for.
Now even if you get separation and it re-lights, you’re still on the right track.
If you get your stop jellyfish clean, then it doesn’t matter what you do after the jellyfish, for example, pulling down afterwards, it’ll still go out.
I hope that helps!
