Too Good to Be True
Last year tripod maker Benro launched a Kickstarter with their Benro Theta and Theta Max which are the world's first self-levelling tripods. Complete with motors and a battery module, the Theta is designed to be able to deploy with one pull and level itself with the press of a button.
In theory this is a no brainer for those that want something that is not only carbon fibre and compact for travel but to save time on setting up. Well in this case. what seems too good to be true may not be, as the Benro Theta does have some downfalls demonstrated in this video.
