The Morrigan is one of the most well-known goddesses in Celtic / Irish mythology. She is a triple goddess and is associated with war and battle, death, prophesy and sovereignty. She is often depicted as a crow or raven, and her name means "great queen" or "phantom queen." The Morrigan was one of the Tuatha De Danann, who were the folk of the Goddess Danu.
