As we entered the Trichy bus station, the Marthandam AC seater bus ( MAR C 774 ) was picking up passengers ahead of us. We also left within 10 minutes of the departure of the Marthandam bus. We saw the Marthandam bus after crossing Viralimalai. When we saw our bus, it went at full speed and we chased it. From there we started chasing and went to Madurai Mattuthavani bus station at a distance of 50 to 100 meters. Meanwhile we overtook all the buses on the way. We covered Trichy to Madurai distance in 1 hour 45 minutes. Both of us overtook all the buses on the national highway 38 (NH 38).
