In 2045 the United Nations will be 100 years old with the hope that by then the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established in 2015, will be a way of life for the family of nations around the planet. The SDGs are a call for action by all countries to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They recognise that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.
