The intercooler on my VW T6 decided to let go! Obvious symptoms are a louder "Whoosing" noise from the turbo when under load, Loss of power, fluctuating throttle response and eventually your engine management light will appear.
Note: This could be a boost leak from anywhere in the system. Always check all hose and intercooler to diagnose pressure loss. This one was obvious!
