It's incredibly entertaining for me to observe young fledglings of any species as they discover the different food on the seed tray, and how they interact with other species. This fledgling tried a mealworm for the first time yesterday. He did not care for it at all. He basically gummed it to death, and left it on the tray. Today he looked at the mealworms side-eyed, and decided to pass on those disgusting things, whatever they are.
