Horne Isador (nee Itshak Gorenstein) who was born in Ignatowka (until September 1939 Poland) in 1916 and was living there during the war years testifies how during the liquidation of the Zofijowka ghetto he managed to hide, while his mother, sister with her children and other family members were taken to be killed. Isador recounts about the murder of Zofijowka and Igantowka Jews near Jaromiel village.
