An introduction to how to install and use the Nautilus Firmware Update Utility.
In this short video we will cover the steps to locate, install and run the Nautilus Firmware Update Utility. This tool allows you to install the most up to date firmware on all the installed hard drives in your machine. The firmware file is updated on the dell driver and downloads page around every 3 months when updates are available.
Warning: This update will not run if any of the following conditions exist:
1. Any Virtual Disk that is not optimal.
2. RAID container that is performing a Background Initialization or Consistency Check.
3. A Rebuild, Resync, or copyback function is taking place.
4. A RAID set that is Partially Degraded or in a Degraded state.
