두 번째 3천t급 잠수함 '안무함' 시운전 마치고 군에 인도
Back here at home a new submarine has been added to the South Korean navy forces.
Dubbed Ahn Mu, the 3-thousand-ton vessel is the second of its class of submarine, and was developed using South Korean technology.
It has just finished 9-hundred days of tests and is ready for active service.
The diesel-powered craft holds 6 vertical launchers for submarine-launched ballistic missiles.
It also uses an Air Independent Propulsion system that helps it survive longer underwater.
The submarine is named after general Ahn Mu, a Korean independence fighter.
