In some states, you can require independent contractors to agree to restrictive covenants. Georgia's one of those states. The Georgia nonrestrictive covenant act allows you to put independent contractors in the definition of employees.

There are 4 types of restrictive covenants:
- NDA
- Non-solicitation of employees
- Non-solicitation of customers
- Non-compete
Each one of these agreements you can have your independent contractor agree to.
