Looking for a backcountry powder ski? The number of great, lightweight backcountry powder boards increases every year. I have the DPS tour 112 rp and the Scott Freetour. Christof has the new Armada Locator 112 and the Voile Hyper V8. Each ski has it's own unique characteristics. My DPS are mountain powder toys. Fun and floaty as long as you keep the speed down. I wanted something I could open up with in the big cirques near my home. So I got the Scott Superguide Freetour. I also wanted to test a Scott ski so all my interests aligned.
