Have you tried to clean your motorcycle chain without a motorcycle stand? It's not easy to do. You have to roll your motorcycle around your driveway until you can get every part of the chain.

If you have a double sided swingarm, you can use spools and a paddock stand, but those costs add up. If you happen to have a motorcycle with a center stand, consider yourself lucky. My Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro has a center stand but no chain - go figure.

If you own a motorcycle with a single sided swingarm, like this Ducati Streetfighter V4S, the stands tend to be more expensive. I found this nice little gadget on Amazon that can help with chain maintenance. You simply roll your back tire onto the stand and freely rotate your back wheel - no large or bulky stand needed.
