Before working on this project my Jeep was showing signs of Park Brake failing to hold. Wasn't sure why. After inspecting, I found the adjuster cable snaped in half on the passenger side. This broken cable prevented the adjuster from actuating when the park brake lever was pulled. Installing the New hardware kit that included new rear brake cable adjusters was the fix for that. Had I continued to drive the vehicle without repair the possibility of the wheel cylinders blowing would be greatly increased along with the cost of repair.
