In this video I decided to make a short update of the progress of the restoration of the suzuki drz 400 sm that we started a while back.

So far we made a huge pile of bits and have completly stripped the bike back to the frame.

I didbt record anymore of the strip down as I figured it might be a little repetitive, and to be honest got carried away Woking on it and I forgot.

This is where we are at now however, the frame has come back from being powder coated and it looks great compared to how rusty and nasty it was before!

The forks have some wear damage which I have covered with jb Weld to re build the worn away sections, and this will be sanded back and painted or covered over in future, along with cleaning up and fitting new seals.

The engine cleaned up real nice as it was very dirty and covered in crap. I'm hoping to start the rebuild process asap now we have the frame back.
