Wally Amos, the enterprising businessman and vibrant character behind one of America’s most famous cookies, has died at 88. After Amos sold his company in 1988, he opened a small cookie chop in Hawaii that included a reading room for children as childhood literacy became a lifelong cause. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
