A woman reportedly died while undergoing a tubectomy surgery in Chikkodi taluk, Belagavi district. The deceased has been identified as 25 year old Pratibha Veerendra. The family of the deceased have alleged medical negligence, while the hospital has claimed that this was an unfortunate physiological reaction to the anesthesia.
