In this video I cut open a Samsung Refrigerator Compressor Relay. I wanted to see if it's something that can be repaired. In this case it does not look like it's a repairable problem.
The only way to fix this is to either replace the relay on the board or replace the control board completely.
This refrigerator had a compressor that would not run. The refrigerator was not getting cold due to the relay being defective. You could have gotten the compressor running temporarily by forcing the two contacts together.
The only problem with doing that is, the compressor would run 100 percent of the time and the temps inside the refrigerator would then get too cold.
