A student of Ebadi, Saba and Shahnazi, he preserves the old Persian musical traditions.
This tasnif's original melody was originated by Darvish Khan; however, the arrangement that Mr. Rahmanipour is playing was constructed by Abdolhassan Saba.
He currently resides in Los Angeles.
