This is a human zoo which simulates the effect known as perspective empathy. A zoo in Germany created a caged box for people to go inside, and experience what it feels like being the animal at the zoo. But what you might’ve noticed is that something is clearly off, because these are not actual people. The bottom half consists of mannequin legs, while the top half are pre recorded screens of families that are all watching you. Symbolizing the disconnect between humans and animals.
