An uneasy calm prevails in Kashmir valley ahead of Eid. After being confined to their homes for days, people in Kashmir offered Friday(August 9) prayers in their local mosques as restrictions were eased for the purpose. While prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been lifted in Jammu, restrictions continue to be in place in Poonch, Rajouri and Ramban districts.
