The Opening Ceremony for LEC Munich 2024, Sunday 1.9.2024

I directed the OC, sitting in Munich in the OB truck along with my assistant director next to me.
Camera cuts and cue timings were planned in LiveEdit which was triggered by timecode.
Timecode came from an EVS playback server located in Dublin, together with the technical director.
Visual FX overlays came from Ventuz, located and operated in Berlin-Adlershof, but also triggered by timecode from Dublin.
Screenfeed in Munich war either Dublin program output or special Ventuz screenfeed from Berlin direct.
Thats what i call an international remote production!
