On January 31, 2024 at 6:34 AM UTC a Rocket Lab Electron rocket lifted off from Rocket Lab LC-1B in New Zealand carrying four Skylark satellites on a mission dubbed 'Four of a Kind'. The Skylark satellites are satellites built and operated by Spire that will monitor all near-Earth orbits from space. This will give enhanced space situational awareness services to the global satellite community. The first stage booster for this mission successfully deployed its drogue and main parachutes before splashing down after launch. This was the 9th splashdown of an Electron first stage.
