2nd International Marine/Maritime Spatial Planning Conference (UNESCO, Paris, 15-17 March 2017). The adoption of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, a specific goal #14 for oceans and seas, and the European initiative on international ocean governance provide a strong framework for improving ocean health, protecting the marine environment and encouraging the sustainable development of the blue economy.
