Two men have been arrested in a Hendersonville check-cashing scheme that used an Asheville pizza place as a front.Aloysius Hart II and Ryan James are charged with using fake driver's licenses to pass at least $400 in bogus checks that were created to look like paychecks from Frank's Roman Pizza in Asheville.Hendersonville Police say Hart, James and a third man - all from Charlotte - printed the checks on check stock, filling in the real address, and handed them to clerks at Sav-Mor and Ingles in Hendersonville. An Ingles clerk became suspicious and called police. Hart and James fled on foot, the other man - Nathaniel Brown - fled in a car. Police are still searching for Brown but apprehended James and Hart in a park nearby.Hendersonville Police Captain Bruce Simons said one of his officers had stopped the suspects Monday morning on suspicions of drug activity and when the calls came in hours later that the fraudulent checks were being passed and the description matched the suspects - Simons says authorities were able to catch the men quickly.
