Recipe: Pillow cake. [YT: Cara Membuat Kue Bantal (Ham Chim Piang) Lembut Dan Praktis!!!]
Ingredients:
Salt.
Baking Powder.
Baking Soda.
Five Flavor Powder.
Sesame.
White Flour.
Instant Yeast.
Sugar.
Steps:
Mix the ingredients using cake mixer, add in 3 teaspoon of instant yeast, 2 teaspoon of white flour, ½ teaspoon of salt, 150gr Sugar, 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda, add 500gr Flour, 300 ml of water.
Mix the ingredients until became smooth, now take out the dough from the mixer.
Spread the flour to the table, put the dough to a table.
Now add Five Flavoring powder then mix it with the dough. (thin it out first then spread the five flavoring powder)
Then flip the dough, cut the dough into several pieces, add small amount of water, then sprinkle or place the sesame to the dough. (water is used to make the dough can be sticky so sesame can be placed)
Wait for one night or wait until 2 hours (depend on how much instant yeasts have been used).
Once the dough is expanding, fry it into the hot frying oil.
Fry it using small flames, and wait until brown colored and well cooked.
Take out the cake from the pan, place it to a plate with fabric or clean tissue.
Pillow cake is ready to be served. Enjoy.
