Water Street Bridge was an innovative and interesting project for which our different business units collaborated to construct a semi-submerged abutment, bascule chamber and marine deck. Kilnbridge won the Temporary Works Initiative of the Year (Civil Engineering) award at the 2018 British Construction Industry Awards, Project of the Year by a Specialist Contractor (Subcontract from £3m to £5m) at the 2019 Construction News Specialist Awards and Infrastructure Project Award at the 2019 UK Tekla Awards for this project.
