As our annual tradition to enjoy fall foliage, we made a 4-night-trip to Vermont again. We stayed at Smuggler's Notch Resort in Jeffersonville, VT for two nights. The spacious room, reasonable price, the lodge after scenic drive and friendly staff. There are some problems. Most crucial issue is the difficulty of driving after dark. Therefore, you need an option for your meals. Unfortunately, the restaurants we dined in at the Smuggler's Notch Resort didn't meet our expectations at all. We expected more specific to VT. Your option might be frozen food or cooking yourself or brave to drive the dark narrow slope at night.
