In this brief walkthrough, we take a look at and inside of the former Pennsylvania Railroad's old roundhouse in Ashtabula, Ohio, where engines were once repaired and maintained. After its career as a roundhouse, this structure (according to research done) held a salvage company. Some of the old items salvaged are still inside and around the structure after that company dissolved and left the roundhouse standing empty and open. Though it is tough to see, you can still spot sections of railroad track within the floor. My personal favorite on this exploration were the banks of block glass windows, especially in the sections where the greenery outside has begun to climb up the sides. A fascinating and noteworthy find in post-industrial Ashtabula!
