In November of 2013, the world experienced an unprecedented event. The largest typhoon ever recorded in human history to hit landfall was born in the Pacific Ocean and went straight through the center of the Philippines. This natural disaster left thousands and dead and millions helpless and homeless. While the international community responded with relief goods, the millions of homes damaged or destroyed is beyond any rebuilding effort the Philippines has ever faced before.

There is currently no housing program active in the Philippines that has the model or infrastructure that can possibly meet the demands of this challenge in the time frame the people deserve. A new strategy has to be created that can truly scale to meet this enormous challenge. And in here a new housing model is proposed to do just that.
