NATO fighters were once again despatched on Tuesday night with bombs bound for targets in Yugoslavia and Kosovo.
Hours later, early on Wednesday morning, six Tomahawk missiles were fired from U-S warships in the Adriatic.
As the NATO bombing campaign continued against Serb forces in Yugoslavia and Kosovo, six Tomahawk missiles were fired from U-S warships in the Adriatic Sea in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday evening, NATO F-15 and F-16 planes took off from the NATO base in Aviano, Italy.
NATO said air strikes against Yugoslavia would continue and even be intensified in the next few days.
Aviano, which is the largest launching pad for Yugoslav strikes, is now busy at all times.
Around 30-35 percent of the operations against Yugoslavia are carried out from Aviano.
More than 130 of the 400 planes being used in the mission fly from there.
Four of the six Tomahawk missiles fired on Wednesday morning were launched from the U-S-S Philippine Sea, seen here refuelling on Tuesday.
Two missiles were fired from the U-S-S Gonzales.
The NATO force is bolstered by the American battleships off the Adriatic Coast.
