Spent the Dec 21, 2011 at the Griffith Observatory for the Winter Solstice. A presentation was done at local noon time, ~11:45am and again at sunset, ~4:40pm. In between, we walked around the top half of Griffith Park seen for a few mins between ~11mins and 15mins in the video. We also walked around the interior of the observatory, but I didn't wind up shooting anything inside. The battery was limited and wouldn't you know it, the battery died a couple mins before sunset!!! Crap!
