The IRS has released a new tax rule that affects payments made using PayPal Cash App Venmo. This rule requires you to report the sale of digital products (including services) for which you received a payment in whole or in part in digital currency, such as PayPal Cash App Venmo. If you're subject to this new tax rule, you may need to report and pay the $600 tax liability.
