In order to find out more about the Global Art Affairs Foundation (GAA) and the European Cultural Centre’s (ECC) joint exhibition during the 2017 Venice Art Biennale, PLANE—SITE travelled to Italy to speak with key representatives as well as exhibited artists. “Personal Structures- Open Boarders” features art in various mediums including sculpture, instillations, paintings, and photographs from artists in over 50 countries.

The mission of the GAA and ECC in this exhibition is to make art more accessible to everyone in the hope of bringing people together. By bringing enthusiastic artists, architects, and creative people together in Venice, these organizations aim to start a dialogue between European culture and many cultures from all over the world.
