This is a simulation of a cylindrical sundial, as described in my blog at [ Ссылка ]. It proves my diagram generator is correct. The shadow marks the hour, which must be adjusted according to the analemma diagram (figure eight) in the middle of the dial. The first half of the video is a simulated day, and the last half of the video is solar noon, each day over an entire year, illustrating how the sun moves in the figure eight pattern.
