I made a 48x66cm big color chart with Derwent Inktense pencils. Have a look at the swatches and choose a few colors to try before getting a set. Or splurge on the set, these pencils will bring you so much joy! These are watersoluble pencils but you can use them dry as well. However, the true magic happens when you dissolve the pencils marks with some water. The colors are vibrant and translucent. Thanks to the staining abilities and transparency they can be easily layered. Just wait for the layers to dry in between ;) Have fun! P.S. Check the Derwent official chart with lightfastness rating. If you want to use them in a professional artwork that will be displayed please do your own lightfastness tests!
