The Easy Hitch Step idea was developed to do both, to access the bed of the truck with the tailgate up or down, and leave the step in place. The design with 3 steps also makes getting in to or out of the truck bed less stressful on your knees and ankles.

The Easy Hitch Step easily attaches to your truck utilizing your existing 2” receiver. With a mounting bracket for your license plate, and a quick release latch to lower the steps, you never have to take it off. Making it very convenient to use.
