I today's video, I'm going to test the fully automatic active balancer from Heltec...Well, this is, again, a slightly modified and customised hardware, especially made for 12V batteries, so it is only available in a 4s configuration.
Tha balancer has a hard-coded turn-on voltage of 3.40-3.43V and a turn off voltage of 3.3V. I'm testing both thresholds and see how the balancer works during charging and discharging.
Even the trigger voltage is not as precise, the balancer seems to be working well and balances the 100Ah test battery fast.
