ossc came in earlier today, finally have a pretty good crt recording setup thing going on

all source clips are 480i, i tried the 2x mode w bob deinterlacing but there was a shimmering effect that made the video kinda unwatchable imo, so i deinterlaced using obs's yadif 2x instead

480i passthrough mode was really the only useable option for my capture card anyways, didn't matter much given i could handle scaling and deinterlacing in obs, the hd60 and hd60s shits at the sight of any unconventional signal (ie 960p 59.94hz) and my crt literally can't do anything outside 480i or 240p anyways

as for the setup
ps2/360/wii → generic component switcher → component splitter → one component output to the crt and the other output going into the ossc → elgato hd60s

bullshit aside, just grabbed solo b, some dumb gh1 clip and stuff from mario kart wii wws, expect not garbage looking console clips provided i bother making obs masks for each game
