Jesus the Feminist


The church gets a bum wrap for being anti-women and patriarchal. Well, the church may have earned that wrap because historically the church has done some pretty anti-women and patriarchal things. The early church was surprisingly feminist and pro-women. In fact, the first person to every recognize that the savior has risen was a woman named Mary of Magdalene. The church has considered her to be the first herold for centuries.

All donations will be collected for Zoe Empowers. This organization works with orphaned youth to help them become self-sufficient. Over 150 million children worldwide are orphaned or acting as caregivers for compromised adults. Zoe Empowers is working through local leaders in eight different countries.
