Negotiating prices at a local Maasai market in Nairobi, Kenya. It always stresses me out when trying to negotiate prices because as an American, I expect a fixed price and hate the thought that I can pay one price and the person after me may pay a significantly lower price if they are a good negotiator.

I decided to try my hand at negotiating and recorded it so that viewers may tell me what I did right and what I did wrong so that I may get better over time.

Negotiating is expected and welcomed. My goal isn't necessarily to get the cheapest price possible, I just don't want the mzungu tourist price. I work for an American company while in Kenya so I'm comfortable paying a fair price.
