From last week of October to February, Nongirong Viewpoint offers stunning sunrises and breathtaking morning clouds, located just a 2-hour drive from Shillong. Since everyone arrives around the same time, managing the crowd can be challenging. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.

Some important information

ℹ️ To catch the sunrise, plan to leave Shillong between 3:00-3:30 AM. There are also homestays in Nongirong if you wish to stay overnight.
2️⃣Camping is not allowed in the village unless you have permission to camp on private property.
3️⃣Please help maintain the peaceful atmosphere by avoiding loud music or noise.
4️⃣Be respectful towards other visitors and the local community.
5️⃣Safety is essential-avoid pushing or drinking in the area.
