Hereford eased past Hythe Town, the lowest ranked team left in the FA Cup, with a brace from Mathieu Manset. The Bulls took the lead when Richard Rose drilled home from Stuart Fleetwood's pass before Rob Purdy's exquisite chip doubled the advantage. Gary Mickelborough halved the deficit after latching on to a Kieron Byrne pass but Manset's overhead scissor-kick quickly restored the two-goal cushion. Manset's header and a Fleetwood tap-in added some gloss to the scoreline.
